The Journal of the Peripheral Nervous System (JPNS) held its annual JPNS Cover Image Contest, inviting readers to submit their neural science photos for the editors’ selection. They are excited to announce this year’s contest winner:

About the Cover: Depth-coded fluorescence imaging of a dorsal root ganglion reveals a densely packed population of sensory neurons retrogradely labeled from adipose tissue using peripheral nerve–tropic AAV-PHP.S-tdTomato. Funding received from the W.M.Keck Foundation.

The winning image will be featured on the cover of the JPNS for one year (4 issues), and the winner will be awarded 2 years of free PNS membership.
