of the Peripheral Nerve Society2027 PNS Call for Training Grant Applicants – Deadline 4 December

The PNS Laura Feltri Training Grants Program is now accepting applications for the 2027 funding cycle, with submissions open from 21 September 2026 – 4 December 2026. Established in memory of former PNS President Laura Feltri, the program supports the next generation of peripheral nerve researchers by providing funding opportunities for junior clinical investigators, scientists, and clinician-scientists pursuing innovative clinical, translational, and basic science research in peripheral neuropathy.
A key addition for 2027 is the new Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy (FPN) Emerging Investigators Grant, which will fund an additional award through FPN’s Emerging Investigators Program. This new opportunity will prioritize research focused on acquired peripheral neuropathies, including areas of significant unmet need such as idiopathic, diabetic, and chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy.
The Training Grant Program will award up to three two-year training grants, including the FPN-supported award, with funding of up to $75,000 USD per year to support awardee salary. Researchers interested in advancing their careers and contributing to the future of peripheral nerve research are encouraged to review eligibility requirements and application details.
