Call for Committee Involvement

Application Window:  March – May 2027 – Dates to be Announced

Each year, the PNS actively recruits enthusiastic volunteers to serve on its committees. These roles offer an opportunity for members who are eager to get involved, make a meaningful impact, and support our mission of improving the lives of individuals affected by peripheral neuropathies.

Committee participation allows members to contribute their experience and expertise, connect with colleagues, and collaborate on programs and initiatives that advance the Society’s goals.

Appointments are open to current Active or Junior Members of the PNS. The Society reserves at least one seat on every standing committee specifically for a Junior Member. Members must maintain their membership status throughout their term. Committee member appointments are made by committee chairs in consultation with the PNS President.

Please note that committee positions are limited, and not all applicants can be accommodated. The PNS strives to engage a diverse group of volunteers and strongly encourages applications from members who were not placed in previous years.

Call for SIG Board Nominations

Nomination Window:  February 2027 – Dates to be Announced

The PNS invites nominations from current voting members for open Special Interest Group (SIG) Board positions. The Society depends on the active engagement of its members to advance its mission and encourages qualified individuals to step forward to share their leadership and expertise.

All elected SIG Board members must be PNS Voting Members in good financial standing (clinicians, academicians, and basic and/or clinical scientists). Members of industry, senior members, and representatives from neuropathy organizations are not eligible for board service.

Every other year, the PNS seeks nominations from current voting members for open seats on its Board of Directors. The Society relies on dedicated and engaged members to guide its strategic direction and welcomes nominations from those prepared to contribute their leadership and expertise.

All elected board members must be PNS Voting Members in good financial standing (clinicians, academicians, and basic and/or clinical scientists). Members of industry, senior members, and representatives from neuropathy organizations are not eligible for board service.
